Career Profile
I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Information Systems and Business Analytics at Fort Lewis College, where I focus on networking, cybersecurity, and data-driven decision making. I hold a Ph.D. in Informatics from the University of South Carolina, where my research centered on next-generation network acceleration, including programmable data planes, SmartNICs, DPUs, and TCP congestion control. This work has led to multiple publications in reputable journals and conferences and to the design of testbeds that support reproducible, high-performance networking experiments.
Before joining Fort Lewis College, I gained extensive research and teaching experience at the University of South Carolina and the Catholic University of Asunción. My current work bridges advanced networking research with practical, industry-aligned education, including topics such as SDN, Open vSwitch, P4-based programmable networking, and cloud-based virtual laboratories.
